I am deeply convinced that the current ecological state of our planet is the result of a profound alteration—anthropocentric and domineering—of our relationship with nature in all its forms—women, racialized populations, children, other species—and the echo of our inner divisions. From this stemmed my desire to explore new ways of envisioning these connections—relationships—to oneself, to others, and to the whole, by combining imagination, physical experience, feelings, and creativity, and to make Watertrek a space for exploring these interdependencies. At the “heart” of this reflection: care and respect, community to personal health and the health of our ecosystems."
